PT Bumi Konawe Minerina (PT BKM) once again received support from the people of North Konawe, especially landowners in Tapunggaya Village, Molawe District, North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province.

This was stated by Sahid AR, Site Manager of PT Bumi Konawe Minerina. He explained that PT BKM is the legal owner of the disputed land after undergoing a document verification process by the local government with the involvement of the land owners.

According to Sahid, the document verification process for land ownership, conducted by the local government and involving both PT BKM and the community, was very appropriate, as it was deemed the most suitable way to resolve the land dispute.

“Based on the results of the verification, it has been confirmed that PT BKM is the lawful owner of the land. PT BKM has a strong legal basis, as confirmed by the government’s verification,” he explained on Thursday (07/08/2025).

For this reason, according to Sahid, site manager of PT Bumi Konawe Minerina, all stakeholders within the PT. BKM circle are ready to provide support in the legal process and protect the disputed location from outside parties who are encroaching on the company’s current land holdings.

“Mining activities have been running smoothly up until now. The land acquisition we have carried out has always been done publicly,” emphasized Busran, the Condev specialist at PT BKM.

Busran further explained that the land acquisition process conducted by PT BKM has always been carried out openly and transparently, attended by government officials, landowners, and local community leaders.
